Charlotte plays a key role in supporting the Gadsby Wicks legal team, assisting with case preparation, liaising with clients, and ensuring vital documents are managed efficiently to help secure the best outcomes for their claimants.

What motivated you to join Gadsby Wicks?

Having grown up in Chelmsford, I was familiar with Gadsby Wicks' strong reputation. It’s great to be part of such a well-respected firm, and I really enjoy working with such a supportive and dedicated team.

What do you find fulfilling about your role?

I really enjoy being able to help people and make their day a little easier. The variety of my role keeps things interesting—no two days are the same, and I love getting to speak with different people and support the team however I can.

What are your responsibilities at Gadsby Wicks?

As a Paralegal at Gadsby Wicks, I support clients throughout their case by helping to gather medical records, drafting important documents, and keeping them updated on progress. I work closely with our solicitors to ensure each case is managed efficiently and that claimants receive the support and guidance they need during what can be a difficult time.

What qualities help make you an effective paralegal?

I am highly organised and manage my time effectively, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. I work proactively and independently but am always willing to ask questions and collaborate when needed. My problem-solving skills allow me to approach challenges with a practical mindset, helping to support both clients and colleagues throughout the legal process.

What do you do outside of Gadsby Wicks?

Outside of work, I play netball weekly and enjoy baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors. I also like going for walks and catching up with family and friends.
